So You Wanna Date A Sexy Pornstar?

    First off I’d like to point out that the title should be read as if it were being sung to the beat of the infamous Cypress Hill song. Now, with that out of the way, the question I ask is, is it OK to date a pornstar? Or, if you prefer, could you ever see yourself dating a pornstar? I honestly can’t tell you why this question popped into my head the other day, but it’s surely evidence of just how chaotic and uncalculated my mind is. I sat there and thought about it long and hard (hehehe... that’s what she said) and I was seriously unsure of how I felt about this topic. I don’t like girls who sleep around, I’m not a fan of women being degraded (or degrading themselves), and I appreciate commitment... all of those things are not very well supported by porn.

      I then began to think of different situations (and I’m using female pornstars as my examples here as I’m a straight man). What if the woman only did porn because it was all she was good at and she needed the money? I understand this scenario, but it doesn’t comfort me very much; I’d rather have the woman work at McDonald’s and make an honest wage that way, but I suppose it wouldn’t be the same amount of income being brought in. Would I be able to share my woman with her job? This would be almost impossible for me; how could I watch the lady I’m with have sex with another man (or woman) while being in a relationship with her? On top of that, all my friends would be able to see how she was in bed via the video library she’s created, setting an extremely awkward atmosphere. I wouldn’t want Lak, Steve, Conway, Smalls, Vish, or Curto to know how my girl does the deed, nor would I want my family or coworkers to be able to watch her in the act. And what if G.K. Jr. happened to stumble upon one of his Mother’s videos in the future?! Oh yeah, that wouldn’t push kids to rag on him in the least... nor would it scar him for life!

      Now, I feel all the points I’ve made are quite valid, however, I’m an extremely fair person, and when thinking about this a little longer, I realized the most important thing... pornstars are people, too. Maybe not quite like you or myself based on their career choice, but that doesn’t make them any less of a person. Black, white, rich, poor, hot, ugly, doctor, pornstar... people are people, and I’m not one to discriminate (mainly because discrimination is foolish and only proves how uneducated somebody is). OK, so the woman I happen to fall for has sex with other people for a living... yeah, that would bother me, especially at first. However, if I was to really like the woman, and we got along very well, why would I turn my back on her? Yeah, I would definitely see if she’d be open to quitting the porn industry, but if she sat me down and presented a good defense, I’d listen with an open mind (I’m fair like that). I figured nobody else would share in these sentiments with me, so I opened the question to my friends/family and was shocked to find every single one of them basically felt the same way as I did (maybe showing that our society is actually progressing in some way?). Not that all of them would date a pornstar, but that they didn’t think there was anything wrong with it. I got the jokes like “sharing is caring” and “don’t date, just hit ‘n run,” which provided me with a good laugh, but everyone agreed that it was fine.

      I’m definitely one to seek devotion from a woman (which I think is the case with the majority of people when dealing with their partners), but the heart can definitely make you agree to stipulations you never thought imaginable. So, would I ever date a pornstar? To be honest... maybe! It obviously wouldn’t be my first choice as I’d prefer somebody with a different career path, but if I happened to feel something for a pornstar, I suppose I’d give her a chance. So, if Ruby Rayes (I think she’s cute) were to bump into me and we hit it off, who knows? Maybe it would be the start of something special... I wouldn’t bank on it as I usually like the more innocent females with less of a sexual history, but you really never know. I mean, pornstars’ sexual records are on film, but I know plenty of women who live just like pornstars in their lives, just without the video evidence... at least the pornstar gets paid (said with tongue-in-cheek)! With that said, Ms. Rayes, gimme a call sometime! HA!
